Tyrese was born in Memphis and raised in Oakland, Tennessee. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Memphis, where he received the John W. Burgess Award for meritorious service to the Memphis community.
Following a stint in Nashville working at the state legislature, Tyrese attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he earned his law degree with a concentration in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution. During law school, Tyrese worked at public defender’s offices in Memphis and Knoxville, and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers. Following graduation, he returned home to Memphis to join the firm.
Outside of work, Tyrese enjoys adventures with his wife and dog, fishing, and exploring the great outdoors.
